What are the fees for consignors and sellers?

Fees will depend on whether you consign your items for Rare Candy to sell or choose to list and sell them yourself in our marketplace.

What does the consignment process look like?

We keep it simple: fill out the form at the top of this page and our consignment team will review and respond with a consignment agreement within a few days. Once the agreement is signed, you'll be clear to ship your consigned items to us for authentication and storage until they are sold. Once the items are sold and payment has been collected, we'll send the funds to you via Bill.com, a secure payments processor.

When and how will I be paid when my items sell?

For auction and shop consignors, you can expect to be paid within 30 days of sale (and we always aim for the earliest possible payment). Our 95% collection rate is one of the highest in the industry, and most payouts are complete within two weeks.

For sellers in our marketplace, payouts are essentially instant: as soon as the customer's payment clears, your funds will be disbursed into your seller account where they can be transferred to whatever bank account you'd like.

What happens if my items don't sell?

We know this is a serious concern for consignors everywhere. While we have a strong track record collecting payments for items in our auctions and marketplace, we won't leave you hanging if the worst happens. Items will be offered to second-place bidders or re-listed in a future auction.
